Class Benefits

‘Beyond Yoga & Tai Chi with Louise’ Yoga classes take place in the Studio at Trainer Games Fitness Centre and offer a Yoga class that is a harmonious blend of Yoga, Tai Chi, Pilates poses, and Meditation. This class is suitable for all levels of Yoga. To begin with, you will enjoy a 30-minute guided breathing and stretching routine, warming all your muscle groups in preparation for the ensuing 20-minute Sun or Moon Salutation. During the Salutation, Louise will work with you closely as you move through the dedicated poses. The last 10 minutes of class are dedicated to Savasana or a resting meditation while Louise helps to clear any residual blockage of energy through singing bowls. The Yoga program is consistently changed to keep it challenging and motivational. On occasion, Louise will do a few minutes of Qigong or Emotional Freedom Technique Tapping (EFTT) to help her clients fully relax.
The instructor, Louise Marcoux Phillips has been practicing Yoga for the last 50 years. Her mission-vision is to help her community learn new ways to get healthier and stronger, to better manage stress and anxiety, and to learn to love themselves.
